Additional measures of order were ensured by the policemen of the Teleorman County Police Inspectorate, between May 01-06, 2024, so that the Easter celebration could take place safely.

A daily average of more than 190 policemen, from all fields of activity, were on duty, so that the citizens within the radius of our county do not experience unpleasant events.

The share of places where the police officers carried out activities was approximately 60% in the rural environment, and the remaining 40% of the effectives acted in the urban environment.

The events to which the police intervened during this period were a total of 385, of which 368 were notified through the Single Emergency System 112.

No special events were recorded during the public demonstrations.

During this period, the police officers organized and carried out 17 actions, in the fields of road safety, ensuring public order and peace, preventing acts against patrimony, committed by disregarding trust or through wrongful appropriation, preventing acts of illicit trade and compliance with health regulations -veterinary, as well as actions to prevent acts that affect life and physical integrity.

Between 01-06 May this year, on average, daily, over 140 traffic police officers from Teleorman acted to prevent and combat the main causes of road accidents, especially excessive speed and driving under the influence of alcohol or psychoactive substances .

As a result of the observed violations, more than 680 contraventional sanctions were applied, in a total amount of approximately 332,000 lei. The police officers from the road structures detained, in order to suspend the right to drive, 94 driving licenses and 33 registration certificates were withdrawn.

Also, another 9 driving licenses, detained by the police of the road structures and those of the public order structures with attributions on this line, were as a result of driving under the influence of alcohol, with values ​​up to the limit of 0.40 mg/l pure alcohol in exhaled air.

During this period, 22 traffic offenses were detected on public roads, and 15 perpetrators were caught red-handed.
