A violent accident took place on the second day of Easter in Vrancea, on DN2 E85, in the Adjud area. The witnesses notified the emergency services, and four Vrancea ISU crews intervened at the scene of the impact, with a special vehicle, rescue vehicle and two SMURD ambulances.

Three cars were involved in the accident that occurred on Monday, March 6, 2024. As a result of the impact, six people were injured and needed medical attention. Two of the victims were imprisoned, and the military firefighters had to intervene with a special vehicle. A case has been opened and more research is being done to find out how the event happened.

Traffic was blocked following the accident. The direction of travel Focșani – Bacău has been redirected on DN 11 A, and in the opposite direction the passage is through the town of Șișcani, according to IPJ Vrancea.

Just one day ago, a tragedy occurred in Brăila county. Two people died after the car they were in hit a tree on the side of the road on DJ 221, at the exit from Găvani. The driver, whose driver’s license was suspended, lost control of the wheel. The doctors who arrived at the scene tried several resuscitation maneuvers, but could not do anything to save them.

“From the first data it emerged that a 41-year-old man, while driving a vehicle on DJ 221, towards the Gemenele commune, at the exit from the Găvani locality, lost control of the steering wheel and left the roadway, hitting hit a tree. As a result of the event, the driver and the passenger, aged 32, from Gemenele commune, died,” informs IPJ Brăila.
