The entrepreneur owns the majority of shares in Vincon, which was privatized in 1999, the difference being owned by those who received coupons at Vincon. In the first phase he invested 7 million euros in the wine-producing company, but over the years he invested tens of millions of euros, money spent on vineyards, equipment for winemaking and land acquisitions, the story previously for Business Magazin. Vincon’s business card includes 1,580 hectares of vines in the Odobeşti, Coteşti, Panciu and Huşi vineyards, 11 wineries, including Paradis and Beciul Domnesc, three warehouses for finished products and three industrial platforms for conditioning and bottling wine, of wine and spirits and vinegar.
Luchi Georgescu also has businesses in the field of tourism – the Melodia and Favorit hotels in the Venus resort – but also in the meat industry – the sausage producer Meda Prod 98.
