Torrential rains with hail were recorded, on Sunday, in several areas of the country. People complain that gardens and orchards have been affected. Also, three cars were taken by a flood that formed on the Sărata stream, within the radius of the Prahov village of Vâlcăneşti. According to the Prahova Emergency Situations Inspectorate, no victims were registered as a result of the event.

“In the town of Vâlcăneşti, the level of the Sărata stream rose, three cars were swept away by the flood (no casualties, only one of them is a functional car, two being unused) over a distance of approximately one kilometer. A crew from the Plopeni Work Point is on site and remains for monitoring. The stream still has an increased level”, says ISU Prahova.
