The Bucharest Court decided to admit the list of candidates for the Local Council of Sector 1 of the Municipality of Bucharest proposed by the Humanist Social Liberal Party, reports Agerpres.
The decision of the Bucharest Court, pronounced on the first day of Easter, wins the appeal submitted by PUSL against the decision of the Electoral Bureau of District 1, which tried to invalidate the lists submitted by PUSL for the Local Council.
“The decision of the Electoral Bureau, considered incorrect by the Bucharest Court, prevented the submission of PUSL’s candidacy to the City Council. The Bucharest Court ordered the immediate notification of the Bucharest Sector 1 Electoral Office, in order to finalize the candidacies, so that the team of local councilors of PUSL for sector 1, led by Liviu Negoiţă, can be found on the ballot in the local elections on June 9. Thus, PUSL will be able to fight for the citizens of Sector 1, to represent and support their interests, with dignity, honor and courage”, the political formation sent in a press release.
