Several counties are, on Sunday evening, under weather warnings of dangerous phenomena, for some areas yellow code warnings have been issued, while others are under orange meteorological code warnings, informs News.ro. In Prahova County, residents of several towns and municipalities received RO-Alert messages advising them to take shelter.

The authorities of Prahova county, which was under a code orange warning of dangerous weather phenomena, on Sunday evening, between 19:30 and 20:30, issued RO-Alert warning messages for the localities of Urlaţi, Boldeşti-Scăeni, Valea Călugărească, Bucov .

The residents of these cities and municipalities are asked to stop activities carried out in open ground or at height, to close all the windows of the house and of other categories of constructions, to avoid taking shelter or passing near trees, poles, billboards, constructions with architectural elements that can be easily dislodged, as well as buildings under construction, and in case of increased flows on certain watercourses, do not try to cross them and do not approach their banks.

Warnings of immediate weather phenomena were issued on Sunday evening for other counties as well.

Until 21:00, in Arad county, in the localities of Pecica, Vinga, Secusigiu, Şagu, Fântânele, Felnac, Zădăreni and in Timiş county, in the localities of Variaş, Sânandrei, Satchinez, Ortisoara, Pişchia, yellow code warnings are valid, meteorologists announcing showers that will accumulate over 20…30 l/m2, electrical discharges, wind intensifications, hail.

Rain, wind, hail and electrical discharges are expected until 20:30 also in Argeş county, for which a yellow code has been issued valid in the localities of Costeşti, Topoloveni, Buzoeşti, Leordeni, Mihăeşti, Bogati, Stâlpeni, Slobozia, Schitu Goleşti, Ungheni, Stolnici, Poienarii de Muscel, Lunca Corbului, Suseni, Căteasca, Răteşti, Godeni, Recea, Rociu, Aninoasa, Caldăraru, Negrasi, Hârseşti, Mozăceni, Izvoru, Vultureşti, Oarja, Boteni, Teiu, Hârtiesti, Râca, Boțesti .

These new nowcasting warnings come a few hours after similar information from the National Meteorological Administration that targeted counties in the west and center of the country: Gorj, Mehedinți, Arad, Alba, Sibiu, Brașov, Cluj and Sălaj.
