Tragedy on the night of Resurrection! A woman was fatally hit by a car on the night of Saturday to Sunday while she was going to church to get a light. The medical team sent to the scene of the accident tried to resuscitate her, but to no avail, according to news.ro.

An 84-year-old woman from a village in Vaslui died on the night of Saturday to Sunday after she was crushed by a car, just as she was on her way to the Resurrection service. The accident took place in Vaslui county, Vulturești commune.
Close to midnight, the Ambulance received a call to 112, announcing that a pedestrian, who was walking on the side of the road, was crushed by a car. At the first call, the victim was in cardiorespiratory arrest, being directed to the nearest SAJ B2 ambulance, as well as an ISU ambulance with a doctor from Vaslui. For several tens of minutes, the medical personnel performed resuscitation maneuvers on the woman, but everything was in vain.

Despite all the doctors’ efforts, a few minutes before 12 o’clock at night, on the feast of the Savior’s Resurrection, the 84-year-old woman was declared dead. The case remained in the attention of the Police, who will establish the circumstances in which the road event took place.
