A man was detained by the police in Apahida after a scandal caused by two dogs out on the street.
He allegedly assaulted two husbands after their dog got into a fight with the aggressor’s dog.
“On May 2nd, the policemen of the Apahida Rural Police Section 2 ordered the detention measure, for 24 hours, in the name of a 37-year-old man, investigated in a criminal case involving the crime of hitting or other violence.
In fact, on the 1st of May this year, at around 18.20, the police teams were informed about a conflict between three people, in Feleacu commune.
According to the preliminary investigations, it turned out that the man, while visiting a property in Feleacu commune, noticed that the owner’s small canine came out of the yard, pouncing on a large dog, as well as on the minor, aged 14, who accompanied him.
Later, the large dog retaliated against the attack, and the man became aggressive. The minor, being scared, immediately notified his parents, and when they arrived at the scene, they were assaulted by the 37-year-old man.
On his behalf, based on the evidence administered, the police issued a detention order for 24 hours, the investigations being continued under the aspect of the crime of hitting or other violence. Later, after the expiration of the 24 hours, he was placed under the measure of judicial control for a period of 60 days”, IPJ Cluj transmitted.
