An 85-year-old woman died, on the night of Saturday to Sunday, on a road in Vaslui county, after she was hit by a car while she was on her way to the church to attend the Resurrection service. The medical team sent to the scene of the accident tried to revive her, but to no avail.
The accident took place before midnight, in Vultureşti, Vaslui county, where an 85-year-old woman, who was walking to church, was hit by a vehicle. Two ambulances – one with a doctor from the Vaslui County Ambulance Service and one SMURD – were sent there.
For several tens of minutes, the medical personnel performed resuscitation maneuvers on the woman, but she could no longer be saved.
The case remained in the attention of the Police, who will establish the circumstances in which the road event took place.
