A 48-year-old driver, from Blejoi, was caught by the radar device driving at 86 km/h on Republic Boulevard in Ploiesti. The driver was tested with a breathalyzer, the machine indicating the value of 0.76 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air

Yesterday, at around 4:30 p.m., the police officers from the Ploiești Municipality Police, while carrying out activities on the road line on Republicii Boulevard in the municipality, issued a regulatory stop signal to a car that was recorded traveling at a speed of 86 km/h.

The driver was identified as a 48-year-old man from the commune of Blejoi, and when tested with the breathalyzer, he showed a value of 0.76 mg/l of pure alcohol in the exhaled air, after which he was taken to a medical unit for taking biological blood samples.

In the case, a criminal file was drawn up under the aspect of committing the crime of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcoholic beverages.
