FC Bihor “broke the lock” at the end! The 19th seasonal victory of the “red-blues”

--

The “red-blues” needed 80 minutes to break the “lock” of the well-organized defense around the veteran Ioan Mera. FC Bihor territorially dominated the entire game, had overwhelming possession, but could not find the solutions around the square to dislocate the two-line defense of the Banatians. There were also opportunities to score, but Calugher (25) or Chitaș (29) left much to be desired. On one of the rare offensive spurts, D. Bud shot from 14 meters, the deflected ball went wide.

The half ended with the beautiful volley shot sent by Chitas from 15 meters, but the ball went over the crossbar.
The Banatians caught another counter and Fandel got a shot from 11 meters after the duel with Ricardo Farcaș (54). Giuricici executed with a slot, but the ball hit Pânzariu’s left bar and thus the goalkeeper from Oradea kept his invincibility from the last five stages, reaching 450 minutes without conceding a goal.
In the 71st minute, it was the Bihoren’s turn to ask for a penalty in the duel between Mera and Chitaș (well launched with a long pass by R. Farcaș), surprised somewhat far from the phase, the central Pavel consulted with the Kopriva assistant and did not award a penalty kick . Another very good long pass by R. Farcaș found Hosu, who from the angle shot strongly to the short corner and Brașoveanu rejected in the corner. The corner kick was executed by Chitaș and Csaba Preklet resumed with a header from 8 meters exactly in the direction of the goalkeeper (76).

Another defensive player solved the equation of the points at stake, Ricardo Farcaș scoring with a header from 6 meters from the corner executed by Chitaș (1-0). FC Bihor ticks off its 19th victory, and on Tuesday, May 7, from 18:00, it has a new “training match for the play-off”, this time with Phoenix Buziaș, also at the Iuliu Bodola Stadium.
