The decision of the judges in the Capital is final, the former prefect of the Gorj Dan Ilie Morega county will remain under house arrest for another 30 days. He is still obliged to wear the electronic monitoring bracelet.

The former prefect chose to spend his house arrest in the city of Baia de Aramă in Mehedinţi county, where he owns a house. In recent weeks, the ex-politician has been very active on social networks, where he has published images while working at the solar plant or from fiddling parties he organized at home.

Since the beginning of April, former prefect Dan Ilie Morega has been under house arrest. Aged 78, he is being investigated in several criminal cases because he drove even though he no longer had a license, he was caught in traffic at least six times in one month.
