The policemen of the Argeș Animal Protection Bureau were alerted yesterday, May 1, following a 112 call, by the policemen of the Băiculesti Police Station, regarding the fact that, within the radius of the town of Băiculesti, there is an abandoned foal.

The foal was in a state of danger and the police officers from the Animal Protection Bureau transported it to a private animal protection association, within the radius of Brădulet, to benefit from medical assistance, shelter and specialized care.
Based on art. 24, ind. 1 of Law 205/2004R on the protection of animals, an Order was issued to place the animal in the shelter”, states IPJ Argeș.

The checks continue, in order to establish the circumstances in which the animal ended up in this situation and to take the necessary legal measures, the police from Arges also say.
At the same time, the police officers of the Argeș Animal Protection Bureau recommend all animal owners to take care of their well-being. Make sure they have food, shelter, check their health and supervise them.
It is important to note that acts such as leaving animals free without supervision or abandoning them are sanctioned by the legal norms in force.
