Russia accuses that it will be attacked from Romania with F 16 planes. The pilots, already trained near Bucharest. NATO posted a video of Ukrainian pilots training in Denmark, but pro-Kremlin channels write that the first pilots who will fight in Ukraine were trained in Romania.

“Of course, we don’t invent deadlines. This date has been changed several times. We’re waiting,” stated Ilia Ievlaș.

The pro-Kremlin channel Telegram/Fisherman wrote that the spokesman of the Air Force of Ukraine forgot to mention “something”, namely that “combat aircraft handed over to the Ukrainian authorities periodically flew in the western regions of the country.”

“During the training, the pilots who were in Romania flew at low altitudes and also practiced landing at airfields such as Starokonstantinov, Ivano-Frankivsk and so on,” writes Telegram/Fisherman.

In Romania, an F-16 pilot training center, including Ukrainians, is located in Fetești, but they are said to have not yet started training, as Telegram/Fisherman claims.

The infrastructure for the F-16 deployment began to be prepared early last year. According to some reports, even the Voronov Field Airfield is being actively upgraded to meet current needs.

However, they cannot cover the needs of the new F-16 fleet. As a result, “as a last resort, I can always use the territories of Romania and Moldova as take-off points”, writes Telegram/Fisherman.

“It was only a matter of time before the arrival of American fighter jets was allowed. Only now, it seems, the green light has been given.”

NATO posted a short documentary to show how Ukrainian F-16 pilots train in Denmark.

A video of the training was published on NATO’s official YouTube page, according to mil.in.ua.

In the video, a Ukrainian pilot with the call sign Moonfish shared his impressions of these planes and demonstrated their flight capabilities.

He is one of the few Ukrainian pilots currently honing his skills on the F-16, which will be delivered to Ukraine.

According to him, the fighter plane has excellent maneuverability and a powerful engine, which makes it possible to perform quick maneuvers.

Ukraine is expected to receive its fleet of F-16s in the summer of 2024, and by then the pilots should have completed their training.

The Telegram/Fisherman channel warns that a massive attack on Crimea and the Kerch bridgehead, including F-16s, will follow.

“Preparations are in full swing,” Telegram/Fisherman announces.
