Road traffic will be closed on Domnească street, on the section between Bessarabiei and Ep. Melchisedec Ştefănescu arteries, between May 4, 2024, 11 p.m. – May 5, 2024, 1:30 a.m., announces Galati City Hall. The restriction is necessary for the smooth running of the events on the occasion of the Feast of the Resurrection at the Archbishop’s Cathedral.

“During the event, we recommend the following detour route to motorists: Domnească str. – Basarabiei str. – Traian str. – Rizer str. – Vasile Alecsandri str. – Domnească str.

On Saturday, May 4, 2024, starting at 9:30 p.m., we strongly recommend car owners not to park on Domnească street, on the stretch between Basarabiei street and Ep. Melchisedec Ştefănescu street,” Galati City Hall reports.

For the smooth flow of road traffic, drivers are asked to drive carefully and to respect the temporarily established road signs and the signals of traffic agents, during the event.

According to the authorities, the transport schedule will change as follows:

Route 26 (CFR Station – Micro 13b): the half-ride departing at 23.20 from CFR Station will be diverted, from Domnească street, to Basarabiei str. – Traian str. – Bariera Traian – Alexandru Măcelaru str. – bd. George Coșbuc – Henri Coandă str. – Traian Vuia str. – bd. Milcov – Micro 13B;

Route 102 (Micro 19 – Bariera Traian): the half race departing at 22:28 from Micro 19 will be cancelled; the semi-races departing at 22.13 and 22.28 from Bariera Traian will be cancelled.
