Yesterday, a 6-year-old boy from Bistrita was injured while trying to board the Thomas train in the King Mihai I Municipal Park. His sister was also in the train.
The boy arrived at UPU-SMURD Pediatrics from the Emergency County Clinical Hospital with polycontusions, and was later discharged with medical recommendations at home, according to the institution’s representatives.
At the wheel was a volunteer from SVSU Bistrita.
“On May 1st, policemen from the Bistrita Police intervened in the Municipal Park where an event was reported.
From the first data, a 6-year-old minor from Bistrita was injured while allegedly trying to get into the recreational vehicle intended for the transport of children in the King Mihai I Municipal Park. It was driven by a 25-year-old young woman from Bistrita .
The police are continuing the investigations within a criminal file prepared regarding the crime of culpable bodily harm, in order to establish the causes and circumstances of the occurrence of the event”according to IPJ BN.
After the incident, the train continued to transport the children, with another SVSU volunteer at the wheel.
In August 2022, three children arrived at UPU Pediatrics with polycontusions, after the Thomas electric train overturned.
