The national press has created a list of locations in Romania where those who wish can organize a short trip during the Easter 2024 holiday.

Among the ideas of locations where you can spend your vacation during the Easter holidays, two locations located in the town of Bumbești Pițic, the village of Poienari, were included. It’s about the “Upturned House” and the “Witches’ Castle”.

“The “Witches’ Castle” is a new tourist attraction recently opened in Gorj county, in Bumbești Pițic, Poienari village, near the highest road in the country, Transalpina.

The witches, made by a plastic artist, are over two meters high and are the highlights of this castle. Each room in the castle has a special story, being dedicated to a witch.

The entrance price is 15 lei for children and 20 lei for adults.

It is a beautiful destination to consider for your Easter break.

The overturned house

The overturned house was built near the Colored Forest, in Gorj County, near Transalpina. Here, the roof is buried in the ground, the bed sits on the ceiling, and the reverse image is seen on the TV, creating an interesting optical illusion.

Although it would not normally be habitable, the large number of visitors who come to see it demonstrates the interest in this unusual construction. The destination is perfect for the little ones, who will be surprised by the unique construction method of the house”, write those from wowbiz.ro.
