Even though the weather forecasters announced that we won’t have very good weather, that didn’t stop the young revelers from buying tickets, getting on the train and coming to the sea. During this period, the city of Constanța becomes the epicenter of fun and well-being. The stations started to be full of young people since the end of April, their numbers increasing by the hour.

The truth is that they have a reason to come, because our city has become one of the most sought after in terms of festivals, clubs, and other activities aimed at attracting as many tourists as possible. As proof, train tickets sold out quickly and many passengers chose to stand, just to get to our city.

The stations in Costinești and Mangalia are, until this moment, the most crowded, considering the events that took place in the last few days. Tourists also started to appear in the Constanța Train Station, eager to spend their May 1st and Easter mini-holiday on the Romanian coast.

In a large group and with bulky suitcases behind them, the young people are prepared for a week full of surprises.

A group of young people from Brașov, in Constanța Train Station, say they came especially for the Sunwaves Festival, which takes place in the Mamaia resort.

“We came loaded with energy to the sea. I don’t even care if it’s raining or cold, when you’re with such a big group of friends, nothing can go wrong,” said a young man. Another young woman from that group says she told her parents many months in advance that she wanted to come to the beach, just to be sure they would let her.

For a student from Cluj, the Costinești resort was not an option, her target being Vama Veche.

“I prefer Vama Veche, I feel at ease there. I have the tent after me. In Vama Veche it’s about freedom and relaxation,” she says.

Returning from Costinești, a resident of Constanta tells about how full both the trains and the stations in the city are.

“I just came from Costinești from the festival, the station was full. I didn’t have a seat on the train, I stood, it was as if the city had revived”, he declares.

Days of maximum fun are ahead for Constantinians and tourists of all ages, although the weather is capricious, choose to dress appropriately, the summer season has started and you cannot miss so many events.
