The crime in Bihor county took place on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, in the evening. After 8:00 p.m., a call from the town of Borozel was registered to the emergency number 112.
A 58-year-old woman reported that her 34-year-old son had committed suicide. Apparently desperate, the victim’s mother said her son stabbed himself in the chest area with a knife and later died.
Dispatched to the scene, the police crews from the west of the country quickly realized that, in fact, the woman had stabbed her son. From the information provided by the local press, it appears that the tragedy started from a conflict.

Several police teams from the Criminal Investigation Service and forensic specialists arrived at the scene, accompanied by a forensic doctor from the Bihor County Forensic Medicine Service.
The investigators who arrived at the house where the tragedy happened found that the story has another version. In reality, the police have determined that the woman is, in fact, responsible for her son’s death.
As a result, the suspect was detained for 24 hours. Currently, she is in the police custody of Bihor county with the proposal of preventive arrest for 30 days.
