At the level of the Sibiu County Gendarmerie Inspectorate, the intensification of the necessary measures to ensure the climate of order and safety was ordered in the context of the May 1st mini-holiday and the Easter Holidays.

In the next period, gendarmerie crews will be present in the public space, in crowded areas and in the event area for the safety of the community and for the prevention and combating of antisocial acts.

Also, the gendarmes will be present in the area of ​​places of worship, where religious services will be held, as well as in their proximity, to ensure a safe environment.

We recommend that you do not engage in actions that may disturb public order and peace, and if you are in a difficult situation or witness antisocial acts, ask for the help of the gendarmes in the device.

At the same time, for the safety of the people who will be in the mountain area, the Sibiu mountain gendarmes will be present in the Păltiniș and Bâlea resorts, on the adjacent tourist routes and in the leisure areas, ready to intervene to support people in difficulty.

In order to avoid unpleasant situations, it is necessary to respect the safety rules, to equip yourself according to the mountain area, not to venture on the tourist routes after dark, to respect the legal provisions regarding the picnic activity, and in case that you encounter wild animals, do not approach them to take photos or feed them.
