USR Bihor submitted the lists of candidates for the local elections – Oradea live

USR Bihor ended the pre-campaign period with the submission of candidacies for the Oradea City Hall and Local Council, for the Bihor Presidency and County Council, as well as for all the cities and communes where we have candidates for the positions of mayor and local councilors.

The people that USR Bihor proposes to the electorate are from all walks of life, because human quality matters to us.

Daniel Palaghianu, the former sub-prefect, is our candidate for Oradea City Hall and the one who opens the list for the City Council. He is followed by Mihai Șvab, the vice-president of USR Bihor, and among the candidates are Gabriela Jurjea, financial analyst and founder of the citizens’ initiative Misiunea Grivei, along with Ildiko Csuvar and Bianca Bonas, animal protection activists.

The USR Oradea list for the City Council also includes the entrepreneur Călin Aron, the sculptor Thomas Becket Ilies, the teacher Ciprian Frunză, the resident doctor Răzvan Ulici, the basketball coach Virgil Anica, the teachers Gelu Serea and Ramona Ola, Monica Horvath (human resources manager), psychologist Ioana Dumea and several entrepreneurs including Dan Lozinca, Ioan Kuibus, Ștefan Radu and Călin Petrita.

“Today I submitted my candidacy for Oradea City Hall. What we bring to the administration is a different style of leadership and politics, closer to people and your needs. The change we are committed to is that all big decisions will be made together with you, the people of Oradea. We have a serious plan for education, on which the economic future of Oradea is based. Be with us and if this round of elections we enter the City Council, we will be your spokesperson in front of the City Hall.” said Daniel Palaghianu

Alex Orjan is the USR Bihor candidate for the position of president of the County Council. He is a lawyer from Beiuș who works for a company from Ștei. Silviu Dehelean is also on the list of county councilors, along with other colleagues, including mathematics teacher Florin Nicoară from the Gojdu College in Oradea.

USR Bihor, at the local level, is going alone in these elections, not in the electoral alliance formula. The decision is very simple and aims at the best exploitation of electoral opportunities.

“We considered it more pragmatic to run as a party, not as an electoral alliance, because the party must get 5% of the votes to enter the councils, and an alliance more, 7% if it is made up of two parties, 8% if it consists of three parties. We submit alliance candidates only in Bihor localities where colleagues from the localities have told us that they are sure they reach this 8% threshold”, says Silviu Dehelean, president of USR Bihor.

USR Bihor urges all Bihor residents who resonate with our projects: the Grivei Mission, CosmoParc Oradea, the Green Pact for Oradea, the Education Pact or other projects promoted by USR Oradea to support us and vote for us on June 9.

The people of Bihor will only gain if USR’s voices are present at the county town halls and in the local and county councils.
