The municipality of Suceava hosts, on Wednesday and Thursday, the matches of the RO2-RO1 Semifinal Tournament of the National Handball Championship for Juniors 4. The first four ranked among the eight teams present in Suceava will qualify for the Final Tournament.
CSU Suceava, LPS Suceava and the Suceava County Handball Association are organizing the RO2-RO1 semifinal tournament of the National Handball Championship for Juniors 4 on Wednesday and Thursday. The winner of the regional phase held in Botoșani, CSU Suceava is in group A.
The team coached by Andrei Olariu will play Viitorul Oțelul Galați on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. and CSS Medgidia at 4:30 p.m. and Preventis Iaşi at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday. LPS Suceava is in group B. The team coached by Cristian Adomnicai will play on Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. with CSM Constanța and at 4:30 p.m. with HC Omer Constanța and on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. with LPS Iasi. The matches in group A will be played in the hall of the “Ion Crangă” Gymnasium in Suceava, and those in group B and the ranking ones in the “Dumitru Bernicu” hall of the High School with Sports Program in Suceava. He is the brain behind the famous “Cupa Cartierelor” competition, which had its first edition in 2012 and brought together hundreds of football enthusiasts from behind the block. At the 2018 edition of the Romanian Film Gala, he won the grand prize for the short film “Football in Heaven”.
