The money comes from the Environmental Fund Administration, and Hubert Thuma announces that the new minibuses will be electric. In addition, two charging stations for the respective minibuses will also be built from these funds. And they are not the only ones that CJ Ilfov will acquire.
Another older project aims to buy a number of 33 school minibuses, with money from PNRR. The project worth 36 million euros is in the procurement phase, as announced by the president Hubert Thuma.
“Another 20 school minibuses for Ilfov! Good news for the students of Ilfov: we signed a financing contract for 25 million lei. It is money from the Environmental Fund Administration, for 20 electric, hybrid or compressed natural gas minibuses and two charging stations.
In the past, we have obtained funding for school transport: almost 36 million lei, from PNRR, for another 33 electric minibuses. We are already in the procurement phase for these vehicles.
Providing transport to school is extremely important because it means facilitating access to education and reducing school dropouts.
