Spontaneous protest of RETIM employees at the headquarters on Str. 9th Cavalry Division, Timisoara. The workers refused to go out on the route this morning, citing grievances related to wages, working conditions and the management of the company. They accuse Venelin Ditsov, the head of the station, of harassment and first of all demand his removal.

Timisoara risks being filled with garbage on May 1 and Easter.

“It is a spontaneous stoppage of work, people are dissatisfied with the salary conditions, the management of the company, which humiliates them, treats them like slaves. I don’t talk to them, if they file complaints they are hunted down, kicked out. The working conditions… At the moment the people are inside, so is the management of the company, no action has been taken yet”, one of the disgruntled told us.

Dan Pascu, the director of Retim Ecological Service, is also at the scene, trying to persuade the workers.

Among the grievances is the fact that the attendance is not carried out according to the law, but on a GPS in the car, that it is deducted from the working hours. But the biggest complaints are related to the head of the department, Venelin Ditsov, on whose name there are five complaints of harassment and they demand that he be fired, then follow the salary conditions and working conditions. Employees, workers and drivers, are determined not to go out to work during the holidays, on May 1, 4 and 6 if their grievances are not met.
