The past weekend was full of road events and violations detected by the police, among drivers. Thus, 6 drivers were detected driving without a driver’s license, 4 drivers were detected in flagrante delicto driving under the influence of alcoholic beverages, with values ​​between 0.43 and 1.02 mg/l of pure alcohol in exhaled air.

At the same time, on April 29 this year, around 11:30 p.m., the traffic police stopped a car, driven by a 45-year-old man, driving on CA Rosetti street, in the Roman municipality. After testing with the device provided, indications emerged regarding the possible presence of psychoactive substances. We note that this is not evidence in the criminal case, the person being taken to a medical facility, for the collection of biological samples, in order to accurately establish the consumption of prohibited substances. In the case, a criminal file was drawn up regarding the commission of the crime of driving a vehicle under the influence of alcoholic beverages or other substances.

The active presence of the police led to the prevention of more serious road accidents resulting in the loss of human lives. Because there is a mini-holiday period ahead, the police will be in the field, where they will carry out specific actions to combat the main generating causes, on the days and time intervals known to have an increased risk of accidents.
