The mayor of Aleșd, Ioan Todoca, as president of the ADI Urban-Rural Intercommunity Development Association, which also includes the communes of Aștileu, Tileagd and Șețchea, signed, on Monday, the order to start the works and the documentation for handing over the site for the realization of a gas networks in these administrative-territorial units.
Both by the length of the network, over 134 kilometers, and the number of connections that will be executed, over 4,900, and by the value of the contract, of 22 million euros, this is the largest gas network that is currently being worked on in the county Bihor.
The design and execution contract was won following a tender by a company with Austrian capital, Habau SRL, which has the obligation to finish the works and put the network into use in 24 months, so at the latest in May 2026, the effective date for their commencement being May 13, 2024.
The source of funding for the investment objective is the Anghel Saligny National Investment Program.
Projects to establish gas networks in Bihor are currently underway, in the Oradea Metropolitan Area in Nojorid, Oșorhei and Paleu (with European funds), in Sânmartin, Ciumeghiu and Cociuba Mare (with government funds from PNDI Anghel Saligny) and in Ștei, Tinca, Sânnicolau Român, Lunca, Cefa, Abram, Chișlaz and Drăgești (with funds provided by companies and support from CJ Bihor).
