The Vrancea Cultural Center, through the Popular Art School section, participated during April 27-28, 2024 in the National Musical Interpretation Competition of the Bunny Artists, the 2nd edition, in the town of Bran, Brașov county, organized by the Alin Roșu Piano School in partnership with Club Vila Bran.

Violin class student, Alexandru Lazar (3rd year of study), guided by an expert Dumitru Ivanparticipated in the Violin section – Hobby category and obtained the 1st Excellence Award! Congratulations Alexander for the special prize! Congratulations to the teacher Dumitru Ivan for guidance and support!

The Vrancea Cultural Center participated through the Popular Art School section in the “Nicolae Mantu” National Visual Arts Competition (painting, graphics), the 16th edition, organized by the Lower Danube Cultural Center Galati, held between 08.04 and 10.05.2024 . Painting class student, Silviu Dima (first year of study), guided by the professor Liviu Nedelcuwon the 3rd prize with the work “Spring”.

Congratulations, Silvius, for the result obtained! Congratulations to the teacher Liviu Nedelcu for guidance and permanent achievements of the Painting class! The “Nicolae Mantu” National Visual Arts Competition is aimed, in particular, at the students of arts and crafts schools in the country and pays tribute to the personality of the one who was NICOLAE MANTU – “representative painter” of Galatia.

The theme of the competition this year was “Memories”. The jury consisted of: Gheorghe Andreescupresident of UAP Galaţi branch, prof. Christian Radu“Vespasian Lungu” Popular School of Arts and Crafts Brăila and prof. Olimpia StefanSchool of Arts of the Cultural Center “Dănărea de Jos” Galati.

The Vrancea Cultural Center participated with the students of the Piano class, from the Popular Art School, in the International Musical Marches Competition, the 3rd edition, online, held between March 18 and 31, 2024, organized by the “George Enescu” National College of Music Bucharest and the Association for Scherzo Musicians.

In the Complementary Piano section, the students of the Piano class, guided by the expert lady Antoinette Iozefina Ciobanuwon the awards: Delia Iosif – First Special Prize; Bernice Brianna Maria Vasiliu – First Special Prize; Andrei Dogaru – 1st Excellence Award; Ruben Dogaru – 1st Excellence Award; In the Piano Duet section, the prizes were awarded: Ioana Buzăianu and Bogdan Gabriel Logodinschi – 1st Excellence Award; Bogdan Gabriel Logodinschi and Ioana Buzăianu – First Prize of Excellence.

Congratulations to the award winners and the teacher Antoaneta Ciobanufor the performance and for the prestigious awards brought to the Popular Art School within the Vrancea Cultural Center!
