Today, at 1:00 p.m., the Gorje liberals simultaneously registered their candidacies at the BECJ, for Tg-Jiu Municipality and Gorj County Council.

Dozens of liberals from Gorje accompanied the president of PNL Gorj, Ion Iordache, and Iulian Popescu to register their candidacies. They were joined by Robert Filip, the mayor of Rovinari, as well as the representatives of the Roma Party, those with whom the PNL Gorj representatives recently signed a collaboration protocol for the June 9 elections. According to the press statements, both Ion Iordache and Iulian Popescu state that they are confident that they can win the Tg-Jiu City Hall but also the presidency of the Gorj County Council.
