“The absolute priority at this moment is to make sure that this child is well, that he will receive all the support and help from our specialists to overcome this obvious trauma he went through”, said the president of ANPDCA, Rareş-Petru Achiriloaie, who he traveled to Munich to discuss this case with the German authorities, reports the Ministry of Family.

The German authorities notified ANPDCA, asking the Ministry of Justice to clarify the situation of a Romanian minor who was in the care of a foreign citizen.

In Romania, DIICOT was notified by DGASPC, following a request from the National Authority for the Protection of Children’s Rights and Adoption.

The criminal case regarding the crime of trafficking minors was registered at DIICOT Gorj on April 8, and the investigations are currently being carried out in rem, the institution’s representatives said.

The amount that the parents, the alcoholic father and the mother with mental problems, received for the six-year-old child was 8,000 lei, according to Antena 3.

The other two siblings of the boy – an eight-year-old girl and a two-year-old and eight-month-old boy – were taken over by the Gorj DGASPC, and are currently in the care of a foster carer.
