The Urban Bike Revolution association offers free cycling lessons

--

The Urban Bike Revolution Association comes up with a new initiative to encourage cycling. Every Wednesday, from 7:30 p.m., in the Sub Arini park, Urban Bike will offer free cycling lessons for both adults and children.

The meeting point is Parcul Sub Arini, in the area of the soccer fields, close to the playground. The association’s courses are aimed both at those who do not know how to ride a bike, but also at those who know how to ride, but are afraid to do so on city streets, for example.

“Somehow, the starting point was in 2022, when we did the study on mobility in schools, and to one of the questions who rides a bike in your family and how often, children answered that mothers walked much less than fathers. Or, in a city where you encourage cycling, you have to make sure that everyone knows how to do it,” said Andrei Rusu from Urban Bike Revolution for the Council Tower.

Those who will attend the association’s courses will be grouped according to their level of cycling experience.
