Beware of ads, “miracle offers”, “bomb deals” – if it’s too good to be true, it probably isn’t!
A pop-up telling you that you’ve won a fabulous prize? Think it over!
If the ordered product does not arrive on time, contact the seller immediately. If he doesn’t answer, contact the bank.
Report any attempted fraud to the police, even if you have not fallen victim to it.
The DNSC cautions that during festive periods, people may become less vigilant about the security of the websites they visit and act in a hurry.
