Hundreds of motorcyclists took out their jewelry on two wheels from the garages and met on the streets of Bistrita, at the opening of the motorcycle season. And even if the pleasure of motoring is new for many, the feeling of freedom is priceless.

Motorcyclist: It’s something unique, you’re there! I can’t describe…! If you are passionate, then yes, it is something unique.

Raimond Petruţ, Observer correspondent: Irrespective of the cylindrical capacity they possess, over two hundred motorcycles were exhibited in the polygon in the center of Bistriţa municipality.

Children were among the participants in the two-wheeled parade

Among the participants in the two-wheeled parade were not only bikers with experience, but also children, who dream of driving such a motorcycle soon.

Motorcyclist: Some with emotion, some with enthusiasm, the children liked it very much and will become motorcyclists in the future.

Motorcyclist: Right now behind me is my daughter, who loves motorcycles, and most likely when she is old enough to get her license she will.

More and more Romanians are becoming motorcyclists

From year to year more and more people choose to turn to these two-wheeled vehicles. More than two thousand motorcycles are registered in Bistriţa Năsăud county alone.

Dan Călin Ţirău, event organizer: It mostly involves presenting the motorcycle culture that motorcycle clubs represent and live, but also attracting as many people as possible to this hobby or way of life.

And since the adrenaline was guaranteed, the parade of roaring engines also had an awareness side. The motorcyclists also wanted to raise an alarm signal regarding the increasing number of accidents, which fall victims to those who ride on two wheels.
