Claudiu Aron wants to bring Japanese and Chinese tourists to the Alpin hotel in Poiana…

The Alpin 2003 company, which manages the Alpin Resort Hotel complex, one of the biggest players in tourism in the Poiana Braşov resort, finished last year with business of 66.5 million lei (13.5 million euros), increasing by 22% compared to the previous year, according to data from mfinante.ro.

“We estimate for this year a 10-15% increase in turnover. Now we have the airport in Brasov, and the infrastructure increases the business of a city by at least 20%. We are talking with travel agencies from Japan, China, America to bring foreigners here given the airport. Charter races can be organized. We will have groups from Spain and Italy this year”, said Claudiu Aron for ZF.

Brasov airport was opened in June last year, following an investment of 140 million euros, the only international airport built from scratch in the last 50 years in Romania.

The entrepreneur Claudiu Aron is known for the Alpin hotel complex in Poiana Braşov, which includes the Alpin hotel with 150 rooms, an apart-hotel with 114 apartments, the Alpin House with 25 rooms and seven apartments, all ranked at four stars.
