“Garcea”, the AUR candidate for the presidency of CJ Olt

The actor Mugur Mihăescu, famous for playing the character “Garcea” in “Vacanța Mare”, submitted his candidacy for the position of president of the Olt County Council to the Electoral Office of the respective county on Sunday.

On Sunday, AUR Olt representatives submitted the list of 33 candidates for the mandates of county councilors to the Electoral Office of the County Circumscription. AUR is the third party that has submitted candidacies for the seat of president of the County Council and for the mandates of county councilors.

Mugur Mihăiescu joined AUR at the end of 2022. Relinquishing his acting career and the well-known roles he played in “Vacanța Mare”, he stated that his fans will understand his involvement in this field.

Mugur Mihăescu’s message

“I have only one request: give me a chance that you gave them 33 years. I promise you one thing only: that I will not kneel before Ursula (no Ursula von der Leyen), nor the Austrian, nor the Dutch. Romanians only kneel before God,” he said.
