On his birthday, the Minister of Agriculture, Florin Barbu, was with the farmers from Izbiceni, Olt

From Florii, the minister Florin Barbu was among the vegetable growers in the south of Olt county, in Izbiceni, one of the most important vegetable basins in the country. The Minister of Agriculture brought the locals a special news – the inauguration, next year, of a local product collection center.

“Together with our mayor Marian Gulie and my colleague, deputy Emil Albotă, we talked with the farmers about how we can develop both the Izbiceni commune and agriculture in the south of the county.

And because good news is brought on the day of celebration, in addition to projects and programs to support farmers, I told the vegetable growers that, in 2025, we will inaugurate the Collection Center in Izbiceni and that we will provide them with a market from which they will the intermediaries be eliminated,” Florin Barbu announced on his Facebook page.

At the same time, the minister promised that people’s work will be properly appreciated.

“Their work will be valued at the right price because the time has come to produce Romanian, buy Romanian and choose Romanian”, said the Minister of Agriculture.
