Traffic blocked on DN2, in Vrancea. An ethanol tanker registered in the Republic of Moldova overturned on Saturday, on the national road DN2 (E85), in Mărăşeşti, the driver being declared dead after being released, informed the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Vrancea.

“Four crews from ISU Vrancea intervene with two emergency vehicles, an extrication vehicle and a SMURD ambulance, to a road incident on DN2 – E85, in the radius of the city of Mărăşeşti, in which a tank truck, registered in the Republic of Moldova, was involved , loaded with ethanol. The driver was released, unfortunately, the SAJ crew present at the scene declaring his death”, stated ISU Vrancea, according to Agerpres.

Two special vehicles of SVSU Mărăşeşti are also present at the scene, as well as several police and ambulance crews.

According to the INFOTRAFFIC Center of the Romanian Police, road traffic is stopped in both directions, traffic values ​​are increasing.

Firefighters act to ensure fire prevention measures and clean the roadway of the elements resulting from the road event, namely fuel and substance that leaked from the tank, for the fastest possible resumption of traffic in the area.
