Arne Slot is on his way to becoming the next coach of Liverpool, after reaching an agreement with Feyenoord for compensation worth up to 9.4 million pounds, writes the BBC.

The Dutchman is set to succeed Jurgen Klopp, who announced in January that he would be leaving Anfield at the end of the 2023-24 season.
Liverpool have agreed to pay Feyenoord £7.7m, plus a possible £1.7m in add-ons.
Slot led Feyenoord to the 2022-23 Eredivisie title, while this season they won the Dutch Cup and will finish second in the league.
“It seems clear to me that I would like to go to Liverpool. Now I’m waiting to see if the clubs reach an agreement. I’m very confident in this,” Slot told ESPN on Thursday.
