Razie on the roads in Sibiu county. Almost 400 drivers tested for drugs

In a large operation carried out by 45 police officers over 6 hours, 70 fines were issued, showing a strong commitment to road and public safety. This integrated approach, which involved traffic and public order police officers, took place in both rural and urban areas, between 22:00 and 04:00.

The action aimed at increasing road and public safety, as well as preventing antisocial acts, generating notable results. Of the 53 road penalties, two were applied for driving under the influence of alcohol, with the application of the complementary measure of suspending the license for 90 days.

In a serious case, a driver under the influence of alcohol in a proportion of 0.84 mg/l, was criminally investigated, being detected on DN14.

In total, 397 people were tested for alcohol consumption and 9 for drug consumption, highlighting the police’s efforts to combat drink driving.

With the support of the eDAC application, 419 people were legitimized, highlighting a broad and integrated approach to security management. Police actions continue, reaffirming their commitment to a safe and orderly environment in the community.
