Terrible accident occurred this afternoon, around 8:00 p.m., in Satu Mare county. According to the first information obtained by PresaSM, a two-year-old girl, left unattended, who would have crossed the street in an unauthorized place, would have been hit by a car on the radius of Stâna village, Socond commune. The man who drove the car called the National Single Emergency Call Service 112, but did not wait for the ambulance, but put the victim in his personal car and started towards the ambulance, which was on the way.
The Ambulance crew and the car in which the driver and the victim were located made the junction within the radius of the town of Mădăras, but – unfortunately – the child would have gone into cardio-respiratory arrest. The paramedics have been working for tens of minutes to be able to save the victim (8:45 p.m., the time of writing this news).
That is why several people would have taken care of the medical staff, who asked for support from the Police and the Gendarmerie. Several crews from the Satu Mare County Police Inspectorate and the Gendarmerie County Inspectorate intervened to resolve the conflict.
The traffic police and criminal investigators opened an investigation to establish exactly the circumstances in which the road accident occurred.
UPDATE, 20.55: Unfortunately, the doctors had to declare the death of the little girl.
