The Alba County Police Inspectorate, through the Professional Training Office, organized the “Spring Cup 2024”, a sports competition, in its first edition, which included a football tournament and a crossfit contest.

Teams from the Alba County Police Inspectorate, the “Avram Iancu” Alba County Gendarmerie Inspectorate, the “Unirea” Emergency Situations Inspectorate of Alba County, the Cluj County Police Inspectorate, the Alba County Ambulance Service, took part in these sports competitions. Military Unit 01585 Petrești and Military Unit 01684 Alba Iulia.

The football tournament was organized with the support of the Town Hall of the Sântimbru Municipality, at the sports base of the Viitorul Sântimbru team in Galtiu.

The team of the Alba County Police Inspectorate ranked first, the second place was occupied by the team of the Cluj County Police Inspectorate.

In third place was the team of the Military Unit 01585 Petrești, and in fourth place was the team of the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations “Unirea” of Alba county.

The best goalkeeper was Cristian Cristian from the Cluj County Police Inspectorate team, the top scorer of the tournament was Olălău Cosmin from the “Unirea” Emergency Situations Inspectorate team of Alba County, and the best player was Sas Ionuț from the Inspectorate team. by the Alba County Police.

The crossfit competition was organized in the gym of the Micești General School, and the participants had to go through several trials in which their motor qualities, speed, resistance, skill and strength were tested.

In the individual category, the first place was occupied by Măduța Alin from the Alba County Police Inspectorate, the second place went to Burz Alin from the same structure, and the third place was occupied by Giurgiu Andrei from the “Avram Iancu” County Police Inspectorate of Alba County.

In terms of teams, the 1st place was occupied by the team of the Alba County Police Inspectorate, the 2nd place by the team of the “Avram Iancu” County Gendarmerie Inspectorate of Alba County, and the 3rd place went to the team of the “Unirea” Emergency Situations Inspectorate of Alba County .

Nicolae Albu, prefect of Alba county, Dumitru Fulea, vice president of Alba County Council and Popa Ioan Iancu, mayor of Sântimbru Municipality, were invited to attend the premiere.

The competition aimed to strengthen the good relations developed between the participating institutions and to encourage the practice of sports both for professional benefit and for maintaining health.

For the organization of this sports event, the Alba County Police Inspectorate benefited from the support of the Dinamo Alba Sports Association, the International Police Association – Alba Region I, the Alba National Police Corps and the PRO LEX and SNPPC trade union organizations.
