An accident occurred, Friday afternoon, between two cars at the intersection on Calea Șurii Mici in the municipality of Sibiu. A taxi driver was involved in the road accident.
Two cars were involved in an accident on Friday afternoon on Thieves Road. As a result of the impact, a taxi driver ended up with his car off the road. Other drivers stopped at the scene of the accident to help the taxi driver out of the car.
“From the first investigations carried out it emerged that, while driving a car in taxi mode on DJ 143B, from Rusciori, a 57-year-old Sibiu entered the intersection with DN 7H without giving priority and collided with a car driven from the A1 towards the airport by a 35-year-old man from Avrig.” said Elena Walter, spokeswoman for the Sibiu Police
The 57-year-old driver and the passenger in the car he was driving, a 52-year-old woman from Rusciori, suffered bodily injuries and were transported to the hospital conscious.
“Following the accident, two people needed medical attention. A 57-year-old man who suffered a lumbar trauma was taken by the SMURD crew, and the 52-year-old woman was taken by the SAJ crew. Both victims are transported to UPU Sibiu conscious.” transmits Andreea Ștefan, ISU spokesperson.
