“Starting from yesterday, April 24, 2024, the Ghiseul Unic software solution – developed by ARF – works with all 6 rail passenger transport operators (0TF) that provide public rail transport services, with the integration of SC Regio Călători in this electronic platform of issuing tickets, delivered by SC Informatica Feroviara SA”, ARF announced on Thursday.
According to the authority, the purpose of the Ghiseu Unic – Online Sales system is the sale of tickets for any train, regardless of the company that operates it, and the reservation of seats on the trains of any operator.
“Thus, we mention that, through the same interface (www.bilete.infofer.ro), the traveler can buy travel tickets on complex routes, composed of trains of several railway operators, and can make the full payment of the trip in one transaction. Also, the option of purchasing a ticket remains, in the future, for the trains of a single operator, through its own platform”, reports ARF.
