The Archdiocese of Argeș and Muscel, in partnership with the Argeș County School Inspectorate, organized the Religion Olympiad, the Orthodox Cult for grades V-XII, at the county level. The “Negru Vodă” Secondary School in Pitesti was the host of the Olympiad, where 230 students, for three hours, put down on paper the knowledge acquired in the religion lessons. The opening of the Olympiad took place at the “St. Andrew the Apostle” Church in Pitesti by officiating the “Te Deum” service.
The competition was organized according to the Methodology and in the presence of the delegate of the Archdiocese of Argeș and Muscel, priest-counselor Dan-Florin Obrocea, who conveyed the episcopal blessing of ÎPS Calinic Argeșeanul, congratulating the participating students for the love shared with the discipline of Religion.
