Together for a clean county (ADI MDTR)
More precisely, every spring, with the support of the company that handles waste collection and transportation in Teleorman, the local public authorities, helped by volunteers, clean the communes.
This action has already started, and the necessary materials, such as garbage bags, gloves, caps, vests, will be made available to citizens by the two economic operators dealing with garbage collection.
“ADI MDTR – THE TELEORMAN INTERCOMMUNITY WASTE MANAGEMENT ASSOCIATION in partnership with the Teleorman Prefect’s Institution, together with the operators SC POLARIS M HOLDING SRL and ECO SUD SA, launched the TELEORMAN CLEAN COUNTY 2024 campaign”. The invitation was sent to all local public administrations in the county. The campaign will run until May 15, 2024. The two operators provide the free collection and transport service, as well as the storage of waste quantities resulting from the greening campaign. The Intercommunity Development Association Teleorman Waste Management provides UATs with protective materials (gloves, caps, vests) and black, yellow and green bags for the selective collection of waste”, the press release sent by the president of the association, Daniel Sorin Băcanu.
