Construction of a new headquarters for the Alba Court: CNI will implement the project, financed by PNRR.

The government approved, in the meeting on Thursday, an emergency ordinance by which the National Investment Company (CNI) becomes the implementation structure for new projects with funding from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan, in the fields of health, tourism and culture and good governance .

Construction of a new headquarters for the Alba Court

According to the document, the implementation of the investment projects related to the investment “Optimization of the judicial infrastructure to guarantee access to justice and the quality of services”, respectively the headquarters of the Alba Court, the Buzău Court and the Galați Court will be carried out by the CNI, as an entity under the authority Ministry of Development,
Public Works and Administration. The total value of the three projects is over 276 million lei.

Also, the Regional Oncology Institute will be built in Timișoara (worth 1.15 billion lei), and the Emergency Institute for Cardiovascular Diseases will be expanded in Bucharest “Prof. Dr. CC Iliescu” (with a value of 1.40 billion lei) and an outpatient clinic for magnetic resonance, post-anesthesia monitoring and post-operative intermediate intensive therapy within the Medical Center for diagnosis, treatment and recovery (15 million lei) .

The ordinance also provides for the establishment of the National Museum of the History of Jews and the Holocaust in Romania (268.2 million lei), the “Prison of Silence” Memorial in Râmnicu Sărat and the Educational Center on Communism in Romania (77.2 million lei).

Also in Thursday’s meeting, the Government approved the technical-economic indicators for the construction of a new stadium dedicated to football (UEFA category 4) in Timișoara. The objective will have a capacity of 30,000 seats, the total value of the investment is 836,949,000 lei, and the estimated duration for the execution of the works is 26 months.

“The objectives approved today are projects of major importance, expected by the inhabitants of these communities, which will contribute to the development of the medical, cultural, legal and sports infrastructure”, stated Minister Adrian-Ioan Veștea.
