Until Sunday, Suceava is the host of the National Olympiad of Romanian Language and Literature for grades IX-XII. 276 students, accompanied by 44 teachers, from all over the country participate in the event. The official opening took place in the Aula Magna at USV.
The opening ceremony of the National Olympiad of Romanian Language and Literature took place at the Ștefan cel Mare University in Suceava, Thursday afternoon. The full coordination of the event was ensured by the General School Inspector, Professor Grigore Bocanci and the School Inspector for Romanian Language and Literature, Professor Mihaela Acatrinei, who encouraged the participating students from the beginning.
On behalf of the county administration, the vice-president of the Suceava County Council, Niculai Barbă, participated in the inaugural event.
The deputy school inspector, Petru Crăciun, urged the participating students to promote the Romanian language in our country and to stay in Romania, an option often avoided by most young people.
276 students participate in the event, accompanied by 44 teachers from all over the country.
