What plans does the new general inspector of ISJ Gorj have? “I want to bring balance to the activity” – GorjOnline

Social democrat Marcela Mrejeru was replaced from the position of general school inspector of the Gorj County School Inspectorate also by a PSD member.

The former sub-prefect, Mihai Istrate, was appointed, on Tuesday, head of education in Gorje. The new general school inspector states that he wants a state of normality and balance in education in Gorj county.

“According to the Minister’s Order dated April 23, I was assigned as general school inspector of the Gorj County School Inspectorate and I will propose that every time, in whatever position I have been active, I wish, first of all, to bring a balance in activity. To go on continuity, to continue the work done by my predecessors. In this way, I also want to thank Mrs. Inspector General, Marcela Mrejeru, my colleague, who I believe has done a very good job at the Gorj County School Inspectorate and, of course, I will have several directions on which I will act. In addition, probably, in the following days, I will also hold a press conference in which I will announce what exactly my managerial program will consist of for the next period. I wish that at the level of Gorj county education there should be a state of normality, of peace, of balance, that there should be an instructive, educational process as normal as possible and conducive to the development of our students, because the common and final desire of all, parents, students, teachers to represent the results obtained by the students”, says Mihai Istrate.

How will he collaborate with the mayors of the county

The new head of education in Gorje is convinced that he will have a good collaboration with the mayors of the county, considering that he had a dialogue with them during the period in which he held the post of sub-prefect of Gorj.
“Having also the experience of sub-prefect for almost 2 years, from the last period, in which I collaborated very well, I say, with all the mayors of the localities of Gorj county, regardless of political color, I am convinced that we will find solutions to solve all the inherent problems that they can appear in the collaboration between town halls and schools within the respective UATs. I know from the media and from what I understand from my colleagues that there are certain open conflicts in several localities and as an emergency for me it will be that, in the immediate period, we try to mediate and resolve these conflicts. I personally do not propose to make changes in the team at the inspectorate, I understand that several resignations have already been registered at the level of inspectors within ISJ Gorj and, of course, I will take note and proceed accordingly with the secondment to the position of inspector to other teachers from Gorj County in accordance with the requirements and needs of the Gorj County School Inspectorate at the moment”, added Mihai Istrate.
