Students of Secondary School No. 33 came on Wednesday, April 24, to visit the editorial office of the newspaper “Viața liberă”. The 2nd grade students and those from the preparatory school were accompanied by the teaching staff, primary education teachers Bariț Costinela and Ștefan Livioara.
This time, the little ones didn’t come to sing us carols, as they did in December, when they delighted us with holiday messages, but they wanted to know what it means to be a journalist. Smart and curious to learn as much as possible about how a newspaper is made, the students of School No. 33 asked questions and visited the newspaper’s premises.
“It’s very nice here. I’m definitely going to be a journalist when I grow up. It’s nice because there are a lot of computers and you can work on them. I also like taking pictures, so I’m going to let my family know that I – I became a journalist”, a smart second grade boy told us.
And because Easter is coming, the little ones decorated our newsroom with panels representing figurines specific to the holidays. “I worked with the religious lady and brought them here,” a schoolgirl proudly told us.
Because they were used to singing to us, at the end of the visit, the little ones reproduced some verses from the repertoire of the music lessons.
The students have promised us that they will come back to us whenever they do ingenious things to make us happy.
