Admission to Police Schools 2024: Registrations have started. All information related to stages and processes

Admission to Police schools 2024: Between April and July 2024, a new admission session is organized in the two post-secondary education units of the Romanian Police.

It is about the School of Police Officers “Vasile Lascăr” – Câmpina and about the School of Police Officers “Septimiu Mureșan” – Cluj-Napoca, for the training of police officers.

The recruitment of candidates is carried out in relation to the educational offer provided at the post-secondary education units for the tuition figures approved in the 2023-2024 school year and the domicile/residence entered in the candidate’s identity card.

The number of places, broken down by school, is as follows:

• 1,340, at the School of Police Officers “Vasile Lascăr” – Câmpina
• 300 at the School of Police Agents “Septimiu Mureșan” – Cluj-Napoca.

For candidates from Alba county, the application forms, as well as, as the case may be, the consent regarding the request for the extract from the criminal record by the recruitment unit, are completed by the candidate in a legible manner, signed and transmitted, exclusively in electronic format , at the e-mail address [email protected], between April 24 and May 14, 2024, including Saturdays and Sundays. Applicants may apply to only one post-secondary school.

In order to create the recruitment file, candidates will submit the requested documents by May 21, 2024.

Police Schools Admission 2024: Details related to stages and registration

Details can be obtained by consulting the announcement posted on the website of the Alba County Police Inspectorate, in the Career/admission to police schools section or directly HERE.

The admission session includes several stages.

After the end of the recruitment period, the psychological evaluation of the candidates, the physical performance evaluation test, the taking of the knowledge evaluation test and, finally, the medical examination of the remaining candidates after completing the mentioned stages are planned.

For candidates from Alba county, the physical performance assessment test will be held during the period 25 – 31 May 2024regardless of the educational unit for which the candidate opted, at the School of Police Agents “Septimiu Mureșan” Cluj-Napoca.

The knowledge assessment test will be taken at the educational units for which they have opted, by the candidates who have passed the physical performance assessment test.

Candidates who have passed the physical performance assessment test will take the knowledge assessment test on June 15, 2024, and the results obtained will be made known to the candidates by posting on the official website of the educational unit they opt for, until the date of June 16, 2024.

The knowledge assessment test consists of a grid test with questions from the subjects: Romanian language, foreign language, legislation specific to the Ministry of Internal Affairs, as well as the political institutions of the state, civic and citizenship education, exercises to assess the ability to analyze and synthesize , as well as exercises on learning logical reasoning.

For the foreign language, the candidate opts for one of the following subjects: English or French, through the application form for the entrance exam.

The medical examination is carried out in descending order of final grades, between June 19 and July 12, 2024.

The final admission results are displayed at the headquarters of the educational units and posted on their official website, until July 19, 2024.
