The local administration of Pitesti comes with good news for the citizens. The first day of Passion Week, which precedes the great celebration of Orthodox Easter, brings to Pitesti an event with a special spiritual charge: a concert of religious music specific to this period – priessne and church music – supported by well-known names of the genre, but also by two famous church choirs.

Thus, on Monday, April 29, 2024, from 7:00 p.m., the Pitesti municipality invites citizens to the Town Hall Square for a special musical experience, bringing peace and soul settlement, in anticipation of the joy of the Resurrection. The concert will be opened by Ilinca Din, the young singer who has represented Pitesti and Argeşul with honor in countless popular music competitions, a graduate of the Pitesti Folk Arts and Crafts School, student of the “IC Brătianu” National College and collaborator of the Pitesti Cultural Center.

According to the press release sent by the local administration of Pitesti, the soul show will continue with the recital performed by Paula Hriscu, popular music artist from Hunedoara, graduate of the “Gheorghe Dima” National Academy of Music in Cluj-Napoca, appreciated at the national level as a wonderful voice of the Transylvanian folk song, but also of the folk songs, of the folk songs, which have a deep religious message. The concert will be closed by two choral ensembles known and loved by lovers of church music: the Choir of the Archdiocese of Argeș and Muscel and the Choir of the Princely Church of Saint Gheorghe.
